Background
The Learning Space uses Creative Waikato’s successful ArtReach model and is a free, one-year pilot co-delivered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and huddl, funded by a grant from the Department of Internal Affairs.
huddl and the Three Lakes Cultural Trust co-host and moderate The Learning Space locally, making sure it meets the needs and priorities of community organisations and creatives across the region.
This kaupapa reflects our wider mahi across the region to build a thriving, sustainable for-purpose sector by empowering the people behind local organisations and strengthening capability, visibility, and connections. Collaborating with Creative Waikato to bring their model to our region has been an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and see how ArtReach has supported communities to thrive. We extend our sincere thanks to the Creative Waikato team for their support and for allowing us to share their model and resources.
The Learning Space in Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago is supported by the Department of Internal Affairs.
